Ceres dry cargo barges transport a variety of bulk and non-bulk commodities; including grain, coal, steel, fertilizers, salt, ores, ferroalloys, gypsum, and cement.   We are client focused and committed to providing safe and reliable barge transportation to all industries.   Ceres was one of the first to build barges with a 14' hull vs. standard 12' hull.   This allows us to maximize our barge to cargo ratios.   In addition these large hull heights allow our project division to ship some pieces 19' tall and still utilize the covers keeping your cargo dry and out of the elements.

Barge transportation is both economical and environmentally friendly. In fact, a single barge can hold as much cargo as 15 rail cars or 60 semi trailer trucks.
